Dear Friends,

Welcome to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Parish, a true family of faith where Christ leads us in love every day.

Our parish is a community of communion, a place where the faithful of many walks of life take part in the Church, worship God, and receive His grace. In this spirit we celebrate and adore the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of our life, through which the grace of Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation and all the other sacraments flows into our daily lives.

Our Life Together

  • Prayer – Daily Eucharistic adoration, many hours of silent prayer, and the celebration of Holy Mass, inspiring reverence and drawing us into the mystery of Christ’s sacrifice.

  • Formation – Ongoing opportunities for study of the faith, through presentations, small study groups, retreats, and a substantial library of Christian literature.

  • Service – A variety of ministries where you can share God’s love:

    • Youth-formation – guiding our children and high-schoolers in faith and service.

    • Prison outreach – bringing the hope of the Gospel to those behind bars.

    • Home-bound visitation – sharing a word and spending a bit of time with those who cannot come to church.

    • Parish charities – feeding the hungry, assistance to the needy, and supporting local families in times of distress.

These apostolic activities echo Pope John Paul II’s encouragement that “the parish must become a reference point for all, a place of missionary zeal and charity.”

How You Can Join the Mission

  1. Pray – Join the daily adoration or attend Mass.

  2. Learn – Attend our educational events and deepen your understanding of the faith.

  3. Serve – Sign up for one of the ministries above or propose a new way to serve.

Service is a gift open to every member of the Body of Christ, regardless of age, background or experience. As the Church teaches, “the moral life finds its source and summit in the Eucharistic sacrifice” and therefore “all the faithful are called to participate in the mission of the Church.”

Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and unwavering commitment to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

In Christ,

Fr. Edward J. Richard, MS, DThM, JD

Pastor
